Nikolay Ouriashev managed to restore the Cougars' lead in the second period, thanks to Trey Henderson and Gerdas Paulauskas, but the third period saw the Spacemen launch a relentless offensive attack. Despite Cameron Boville's commendable 46 saves, Fort Wayne's Tucker Tone, Zander Badger, Ludovick Janvier, and Noah Takitani took control, securing a 5-2 victory.

The following night in Fort Wayne, the Chicago Cougars fought hard but couldn't overcome the determined Fort Wayne Spacemen, falling 6-2 in the second game of the series.
Nikolay Ouriashev opened the scoring for the Cougars in the first period, assisted by Gerdas Paulauskas and Arthur Pawlik. However, the Spacemen quickly responded, setting the tone for the game.
